KeymasterAbolish and reflections on ending needless harm, shared duty, authenticity (being real and true to yourself), inner freedom, consciousness (awareness of your own mind), and turning a hard “stop this” into useful motion.
Made in FL Studio 20.
(Rating : 8/10) A blunt, urgent piece with real heart.
Gloomy released a short, clear call: abolish this kind of stuff in the world. Whatever the track points at, the claim is that it causes a lot of suffering. The ask is not to sit with the feeling. The ask is to spread the word and act now.
The core message is simple and moral: some patterns should not keep running. If a practice keeps hurting living beings, the work is to take it off the table, through awareness, refusal, and better ways of living, not through more of the same harm.
At the time this sat next to the album idea Abolition. An artist used the studio to turn a plea into a beat people can carry, so the sentence does not stay only in one room.
The 2.0-revolution takes this seed and grows it further. Where the original track urged abolition as an emergency shout, 2.0 treats that kind of ending-harm as ordinary useful practice rather than only a crisis poster. We no longer only name the wound; we use the same clarity as ground for replacing the harmful pattern with something that can actually live.
Tools that once served one urgent title now help many people turn “stop this” into daily choices, laws, habits and care that reduce suffering for real.
Society moves from looking away toward taking specific hurts off the list. Old pictures of “that is just how the world is” become starting points for real change and less numbness. What began as one artist’s rallying line becomes part of a wider upgrade: consciousness 2.0, where compassion, courage and practical ending of harm support freedom and a kinder world instead of more of the same.
Looking back, the abolish call was an early signal. It helped plant the idea that music can still point at what should not continue.
The implications today are clear: name the harm, share the seeing, act where you have a real lever, and stay on the side of less suffering. The shift is already happening inside each of us.
In short, Gloomy did not decorate the problem. He asked for it to leave.
If “this kind of stuff” still has a long name, at least the next useful no can be short.
